New York

On May 24th, more than 1,600 people participated in a global protest against Monsanto in New York City. People gathered in Union Square, many dressed as bees and carrying homemade signs.

Video of comedian Lee Camp at Union Square:

We’re in the middle of a drop-down, drag-out bloody fucking war, and a lot of this country is too dumb and blissfully uneducated to even realize it. Just like a fishbowl, if you give us a little bit of food and a little plastic treasure chest or a chest of plastic treasures, then we will never even question that all our thoughts and all of our souls take place inside of a two-foot bowl. Time to start thinking outside of the regular paradigm.
